Het symposium behandelt de vraag of en zo ja hoe de mensheid door middel van voedselproductie, landschapsarchitectuur, ecologie en toepassing van kennis en technologie een positieve bijdrage kan leveren aan het duurzaam beheer van de aarde. Centraal staat een relationele invulling van het begrip ‘landschap’. Arnold van der Valk geeft een voordracht over de impact welke de voedseltransitie heeft en zal hebben op het landschap in en om Amsterdam.

In this ANFP meeting, we build upon Gibson-Graham’s re-framing of economic practices to explore different ways to value food – based on social networks and care, rather than a commodity to be bought and sold. How can we transform food systems, to be more sustainable, through changing the relations in which we know and value food?

It is therefore appropriate to skip the Zoom PowerPoints for this meeting and, instead, explore our food systems with ALL our senses.
